Pump it Up playdate

Today we skipped Mothers Day Out and Matthew came along with Mommy and Ava for playdate. Our playdate was at pump it up, a large room filled with lots of jumpers, slides, mazes, etc., Matthew loves pump it up so he got to come along for the fun.

Matthew is doing wonderful in school. He even asks to go some days. He has not gone in almost two weeks because he got sick one week, and I held him out the other because of his new baby cousin being born. So he has been asking every other day to go to school. He is a big boy...now i just have to get him to use the potty EVERYTIME he has to go!

Here are a few pics from the adventure today.

Matthew's MDO 9-23-2008

Things are looking up for Matthew and Me on Mothers Day Out. Today he got out of the truck and started running to his class. Only when it was time for me to turn around and walk out he started getting a little upset. But he barely even shedded a tear today. I am so proud he is doing better. I hate leaving him upset.

I picked him up a little early today and to my surprise he wanted to stay and play. They were outside when I pulled up so of course he is not going to be interested so... Ava and Mommy got to stay a play a while. When Ava got down he grabbed Ava and showed her what to do. When time to go in he scrambled around all the kids and grabbed his stuff and said..." come on Mommy, Let's go" so cute. He is so smart. So he is doing great and I am sure Thursday will go even better!!

He got to paint today with water glue which pasted his picture to the paper. He liked that...probably because it made a mess! I am posting lots of pictures from today in the play yard and one when we got home. The photo of them in the car is what they are doing EVERY Tues and Thurs after MDO.

Love to all,

Melynn

Matthew & Mother's Day Out 9-18-2008

9-18-2008 At first Matthew was not comfortable with me leaving him at "school" with new people but, he is getting better and better everytime we go. The second time he cried a bit when I left but didnt cry very much. Not like the first time anyway. He created his own coloring book this day. he got to glue buttons all over his page and he is ALWAYS proud of his work and likes them on the refridgerator. For learning they matched pictures with colors. Matthew has started to love Mothers Day Out! They eat lunch at 11:00 then play a bit in class, outside time is morning and afternoon, nap time or mat and movie time is about 1:00. He is learning the schedule and adapting well.
