Matthew update & First Dental appointment

Matthew...What a big boy he is getting to be. He is doing better on his potty training! Showing signs of progress anyways. He amazes me of what he learns. One day you will be trying to teach colors, sounds, numbers, road signs, etc. and he doesn't respond and then a few days later he is showing me he really does listen by showing me he can do it. He is so smart and BEAUTIFUL! I am so proud of him...Can't you tell?!
He is currently learning his numbers in spanish, learning what red lights and green lights mean, Stop signs, colors, and still working hard on the sharing!! He is doing so good at learning that you are supposed to say ma'am, and yes/no ma'am. I don't even know what else to share, he is learning so much!! Just growing so fast. Oh, and doing GREAT in Awana's. He has gotten 5 patches and says he verses everytime. Teacher says he is just the sweetest boy and gets along with everyone.
Took Matthew to the denist for the first time... Man was I ever impressed! He took his x-rays, got his teeth cleaned, and flouride treatment all without making a sound. Teeth look good and Matthew is now in the No Cavity Club at McGough & McGough denistry!! :)

Love to all!

Awanas 2008-2009

Matthew stays pretty busy these day... Mondays and Fridays we go to jump at Pump it up, Tuesdays are Mothers Day Out, Wednesdays are Awana nights. He has lots to do and it keeps him out learning with other kids and meeting new friends. These pictures are from the Cubbies class. This class is very large and loud! Matthew just listens and does what he is told while most of the others run wild getting into trouble...I hope he stays that way. :) He is so stinkin' cute in class! He was one of the most quiet and one of the ones that stayed in their seat while the lesson was being told he got to help open the surprise present. Oh he loved that!! He kept looking at me saying "Matthew's present mommy?" I am so proud of him and how he is progressing in Mothers Day Out, Sunday School, and Awana's.

My big boy!! I love him to the moon and back!!

Matthew Loved getting PRESENTS!!

Oh boy! Matthew really got into Christmas this year and definitely understood what presents were this year. He got so many new toys Mommy came home and did another good will sort. Finally, everything is in place and there is plenty of room for the new toys. Matthew has really enjoyed all his new toys from Christmas. It was lots of fun watching him get into Christmas this year, ripping open all his gifts and getting excited about them.

Pump it Up playdate

Today we skipped Mothers Day Out and Matthew came along with Mommy and Ava for playdate. Our playdate was at pump it up, a large room filled with lots of jumpers, slides, mazes, etc., Matthew loves pump it up so he got to come along for the fun.

Matthew is doing wonderful in school. He even asks to go some days. He has not gone in almost two weeks because he got sick one week, and I held him out the other because of his new baby cousin being born. So he has been asking every other day to go to school. He is a big boy...now i just have to get him to use the potty EVERYTIME he has to go!

Here are a few pics from the adventure today.

Matthew's MDO 9-23-2008

Things are looking up for Matthew and Me on Mothers Day Out. Today he got out of the truck and started running to his class. Only when it was time for me to turn around and walk out he started getting a little upset. But he barely even shedded a tear today. I am so proud he is doing better. I hate leaving him upset.

I picked him up a little early today and to my surprise he wanted to stay and play. They were outside when I pulled up so of course he is not going to be interested so... Ava and Mommy got to stay a play a while. When Ava got down he grabbed Ava and showed her what to do. When time to go in he scrambled around all the kids and grabbed his stuff and said..." come on Mommy, Let's go" so cute. He is so smart. So he is doing great and I am sure Thursday will go even better!!

He got to paint today with water glue which pasted his picture to the paper. He liked that...probably because it made a mess! I am posting lots of pictures from today in the play yard and one when we got home. The photo of them in the car is what they are doing EVERY Tues and Thurs after MDO.

Love to all,

Matthew & Mother's Day Out 9-18-2008

9-18-2008 At first Matthew was not comfortable with me leaving him at "school" with new people but, he is getting better and better everytime we go. The second time he cried a bit when I left but didnt cry very much. Not like the first time anyway. He created his own coloring book this day. he got to glue buttons all over his page and he is ALWAYS proud of his work and likes them on the refridgerator. For learning they matched pictures with colors. Matthew has started to love Mothers Day Out! They eat lunch at 11:00 then play a bit in class, outside time is morning and afternoon, nap time or mat and movie time is about 1:00. He is learning the schedule and adapting well.
